The Bird Golf Academy started out as a dream of its founder, Jay Ewing, accomplished player, World Pro-Am at Pebble Beach winner, author and host of “Golf Tips with Jay Ewing.” Unlike many golf schools, Bird Golf specializes in individualized coaching, rather than group instruction, believing that each student is unique, and should be treated, and taught, as such.

Bird Golf Academy instructors are all PGA and LPGA professionals.   LPGA member and resident national head professional, Sharon Miller, LPGA Teacher of the Year, 1989, was recently inducted into the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame.   PGA Member Lee Maiden, California golf schools Instructor, is also the founder of the Gerald Ford Pro-Am.  Former Head Golf Coach Adams State University, whose nickname is the “Swing Doctor”.
