Heart Attack Survival Rate Rises

More heart attack patients worldwide are surviving with less heart damage than they were just a few years ago, doctors report today in the first major study to suggest that widespread use of proven treatments is paying off around the globe, according to USA Today.
The study consisted of 44,372 patients from the USA, Canada, Europe and South America, according to USA Today.
Hospital deaths fell by 18% in patients with the most severe form of heart attack, the study shows, according to USA Today.
