EOAA selects 2009 Lillian H. Williams award recipients

Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action is pleased to announce the winners of the 2009 Lillian H. Williams Award. Juan Moreno, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist in the University of Minnesota Extension Service, and the staff of the Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC), a division of the Academic Health Center, were presented with the Williams Awards at the annual EOAA Liaisons Conference held on May 14, 2009. The Williams Award is named in honor of Lillian H. Williams, the founding director of the University's Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action office, and was established in 1986 to recognize University units and individuals who exemplify Ms. William's spirit and commitment to equal opportunity and affirmative action.
