An OED all-staff meeting to discuss the recent University budget cuts and ramifications for OED is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in 402 Walter Library. All OED staff are expected to attend; those unable to attend should consult their supervisor. Contact Barb Chapin with questions about the all-staff meeting.
The Brown Bag Workshop Series for OED staff continues over the summer, with workshops scheduled for July and August. The July workshop, presented by EOAA staff, will focus on "Religious Accommodation at the University of Minnesota," and will be held on July 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in 140 Nolte. The August workshop, on August 13 from noon to 1:30 in 140 Nolte, will be facilitated by Patti Neiman and will utilize the Clifton StrengthsFinder, which measures the presence of 34 "talent themes." Participants will learn about their own strengths and how they play out in the workplace. To participate in the August workshop, please RSVP to Patti by August 1st.
