ResearchChannel was founded by a consortium of leading research and academic institutions to share the work of their researchers with the public through video programs available via satellite and cable television and its Web site.
The University of Minnesota became a member in 2008 and has available 10 hours of broadcast programming per year. Campus college, department, or center representatives may submit programs on a semi-annual basis. A University-wide advisory committee selects the programming that best represents the University, and OIT Video Solutions works with ResearchChannel staff to broadcast the programs.
Our membership provides the University community with an opportunity to showcase to an international audience the breadth of research and educational opportunities available at the University of Minnesota.
Two rounds of submissions will be accepted to fulfill the U's contribution of 10 total hours for 2008-09. The first deadline is Oct. 15. Read more about submitting programs. Find out more at U of M ResearchChannel.
