The University of Minnesota is pleased to announce that the Classroom Recording software (Camtasia Relay) has been upgraded to version 4.1.2 and is available for download. Current users of Camtasia Relay version 1.2 will be automatically enrolled in version 4.1.2 and can take advantage of the new features, including:
Please be advised: No new accounts will be created in Camtasia version 1.2 as of September 3, 2012. All new accounts will be created in version 4.1.2. However, users may still access their version 1.2 accounts through September 2013 at which time the old 1.2 server will be decommissioned (subject to change).
New to Camtasia Relay?
Begin by requesting an account via the Classroom Recording website. Within one business day, a confirmation email that includes necessary usernames and passwords will be sent via email. Using your University Internet ID and password, log in to Camtasia Relay
Before you begin using Camtasia Relay, you will need to set up your profile information. Your confirmation email will include user names and passwords. Step-by-step setup instructions are available on the Classroom Recording website.
It is recommended that you review the introduction and user guides available on Camtasia Relay. To access these materials, click the blue question mark icon in the upper right hand corner. Tutorials are also available on the vendor's website.
