The WebVista course management system was decommissioned
on August 31, 2012.
The University of Minnesota (UMN) has transitioned away from having two course management systems--WebVista and Moodle--to a single system based on the latest version of Moodle.
This transition was first announced on May 20, 2010. Since that time, University faculty and staff worked collaboratively to move all course sites to an upgraded version of Moodle, and in that process created a vibrant UMN Moodle community. To join the community of Moodlers at UMN you can attend monthly meetings, called Tech Clinics, or join in on asynchronous discussions on MoodleTalk, the community's Moodle course site.
To learn more about Moodle, visit our UMN Moodle support page. You can take advantage of learning opportunities, read instructor guides, and request a Moodle site.
