Student stabbed by peer in St. Paul

A student was stabbed by a fellow student at Highland Park Junior High School in St. Paul, reported The Pioneer Press.

The wounded student, a 13-year-old boy, was stabbed by a female who he is suspected to have some kind of relationship with, reported The Star Tribune.

A third student was injured trying to break up the conflict and the boy is in serious condition at Regions Hospital.

The school day at Highland Senior Park Junior High School was undisrupted after the stabbing.
