Leadership Workshops for your Step Up Interns...2010 Please Share

The University of Minnesota/U Connects program will offer leadership development workshops for ALL U of M Step UP Interns. Each workshop has been created to provide interactive activities to help Step Up Interns explore:
What is Leadership?
How do we define Leadership?
How does leadership affect You and your Community?
Each session will be led by Tex Ostvig a current Graduate Student in the College of Education and Human Development and instructor at the U of M. Tex taught a CLA Leadership Development Seminar for the last 9 years as well as facilitates numerous Leadership Development workshops for University of Minnesota programs and organizations annually.
All Step Up Interns are welcome to attend these Free Workshops. RSVP's are encouraged to reserve your space. Please email: uconnects@umn.edu

Session One : Who Makes Leaders Anyway? Come and learn about aspects of Leadership History as well as how leadership is defined and developed in our organizations and community.

Session Two : Leaders Leading Leaders or Followers? This session will
discuss aspects of learning about leadership as a leader or a follower. This session will also include a team challenge to explore this concept of being a leader or being a follower or both.
