The negative campaigning, for starters. Only losers insinuate falsehoods about the other guy in order to discredit him. What if McCain stood up for his opponent when others made Rovian attacks? I"d respect that, and I'd think much more of McCain.
Oh, and also, he's old and crazy and his mindset is stuck in the 1960s. MAYBE the 1970s. But dude, it's the aughts - get with the program.
