I think it's interesting how politicians always go to this one spot for news conferences at the capitol where it looks like they have a halo. Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) wears the heavenly cap this week.

I'm here today watching the Vikings in the TV lounge of the 4th floor of Middlebrook. It has moved beyond sad and is kind of funny. And by kind of funny, I mean extremely comical.
The Junior Mints lost in over time today. The other team, "The Green Team," probably deserved to win, but the Mints put up a good fight.
I'm very excited to go to Madison. I just need to figure out what I'm going to be.
