Is this the first time you've seen this?

Have you ever had the experience that you have done something before or been to a certain place before? I have had this crazy experience before and i have never been able to explain it. After I read chapter five, i understand this weird experience as deja-vu. But is this feeling real and do you actually relive what you are experiencing at that moment? After reading the section and chapter i have come to the conclusion that a person is in some way reliving or remembering a past experience. As the book says, it can even be an information that is unconsciously processed; so a person could possibly not even remember that memory. This makes a lot more sense compared to what other people want to and have hypothesized. The other hypothesis is that a person is reliving past experiences from another life. Although that is an interesting concept, and there is a slight chance this could be correct, there is no way to prove this so it has to be ruled out. This is a very interesting topic, and one with limited knowledge on, which makes it so fascinating. If someone has other comments or things to add, or other explanations, feel free to comment and share your stories or hypotheses. Thanks!

Whether Deja Vu actually has any footings in the paranormal or not, i have had some odd experiences. One christmas when i was 12 my grandma was opening a present and i leaned over to my cousin and "predicted" exactly what the gift was. Looking back i was most likely there when my parents bought her the gift, but had forgotten due to the realization of my new powers. Needless to say i still need to unwrap presents, if im hoping to get a peek at what the paper is hiding. Things like this happen often, but it always seems miraculous when they do.

Deja Vu is a very strange phenomena. Sometimes, it might feel like a new conversation or place, but then later you see or hear something that reminds you that you actually have been there before. Sometimes, you have not been there, but someone described it very well, and you are now experiencing it for yourself, but the description was so good that you feel like you have been there. Or, a more scientific reasoning, could be explained in an article that I found that said, you have place cells in your brain and when you see something that resembles something you have already seen, it might be stored in a nearby cell, which might stimulate the prior memory causing the seeming familiarity of a place or situation.

I think Deja Vu happened to me several times. I felt like I had a similar dream about graduation when I was in graduation ceremony. Perhaps that's because I imagined the day of graduation many times. Some researchers did researches about correlations between Deja Vu and other psychological disorders, such as anxiety. But I don't think there's certain correlations according to my personal experience.
