Teen Talk Fact Sheets

Teen Talk' fact sheets help parents talk with teens.Do you suspect that your teen is experimenting with tobacco, alcohol or drugs? Are you worried that your teen is working too many hours at a job? Do you need advice on how to talk with your teen about a variety of difficult issues?

University of Minnesota Extension educators have revised fact sheets in the series "Teen Talk: A Survival Guide for Parents of Teenagers." Parents can order a variety pack of all 12 topics while professionals can get quantity packs of 25 copies of a single topic.

"We Agree: Creating a Parenting Plan"

In Minnesota, separated parents can now use parenting plans to spell out the details about the care of their children. This useful tool helps parents who are parenting apart create a plan that describes living arrangements, parenting time, custody and other day to day and long term issues. In additon, parenting plans require parents to address how they will change the plan and deal with disagreements.
