Hi, my name is Gabriel Hicks and I am a second year student at the Humphrey Institute. I am finishing up my professional paper and will also be interning this fall. I am looking for a fellow Humphrey student (male or female) for the upcoming year who likes a quiet, fairly clean environment. I live in a well-kept, quiet two bedroom apartment in Lauderdale, MN (just west of the U of M golf course in St. Paul). It is a safe, quiet neighborhood with mostly other grad students and families. Smoking and pets are not allowed. It is about 15 minutes from the West Bank on the #3 bus. Rent is $365/month. If you are interested, send me an email me at hicks079@umn.edu or call me at 612-718-6804. If you want advice on what to expect in grad school, feel free email me.

I was told that the Humphrey Institute recruits people from around the world to attend its programs, and often this involves that these recruits find a place to live in Minneapolis during their 1 or 2 year stay. Just in case you may have interest, I have a nice 2-bedroom apartment in Prospect Park that will be available in September 1st. It is a family friendly environment.

It includes:
- 2 bedrooms
- Living and dining room
- updated kitchen appliances
- wood floors
- Free laundry facilities
- Shared patio with beautiful view
- Garage

Cost: $950 plus utilities
Unfurnished

Address:
151 Malcolm Avenue SE
Minneapolis, MN 55414

Best Regards,

Tom

I have an apartment available for September as my current apartment mate is moving out. Our place is located on Selby Avenue in St. Paul, near the cathedral.

The unit shares a kitchen, located on your half, with your own bedroom, bathroom and living room area. Lots of character in the neighborhood, located near Grand Avenue. We have a courtyard in the back with colorful flowers and lots of grass. It is great for grilling in the summertime. Each place also has its own balcony.

I think it is a great place to live. $555 per month, which includes a garage. Email me if you are interested. Thanks!
