PUBH 7435 Latent Variable Modeling
This is a School of Public Health course and is recommended for MPP students in the Advanced Policy Analysis Concentration.
You learn how to design research models to quantify qualitative data using the concept of latent variables(if you want more info on what a latent variable is go to the School of Public Health site and search the course description). You can register for it as a masters' level course(7435) or a doctoral level course(8435). If you register for it as a PhD course you have a longer paper requirement and more homework assignments.
