Bio Careers' Invitation for Bloggers/Columnists
I would like to reach out to some new contributors/writers/bloggers transitioning to several career paths. Currently, our blog has over 50 contributors sharing from their career experience with the peers coming behind: www.biocareers.com/bio-careers-blog. We provide the topics, have an editor who makes the articles publishing ready and promote the blogs/articles in social media and our newsletter. This would be a free form of exposure to a very good recruiting source.
The particular career paths we are looking for are (those in bold):
Education: public secondary schools, private secondary schools
Entrepreneurship: Incubator
Finance and VC: Mutual Funds
Law and Tech Management: Biotech Mgmt Office, US Patent Office
Non-profit: Juvenile Diabetes
Public Health: Institute of Medicine (NAS)
Science Policy: Policy Analysts (Congress), Professional Organizations' office of Regulations, DC Thinktank, State level Agency
Chemistry: Energy Corporations, Pharmaceutical Companies
Environment: Consulting and Remediations Firm, Cleantech, Biofuels and Alternative Energy
Consumer Products: Government
Biopharma Manufacturing: Process Engineering
Academia: Caltech, UPenn, Columbia - currently working as assistant professors
Columnists/bloggers need to be 3-7 years post degree, have an MD or PhD/MS in the life sciences and currently work in the field that they will write about.
