McCain visits Lakeville, MN

Twincities.com and the Star Tribune wrote articles on Republican Presidential candidate John McCain's visit to Lakeville South High School Friday night. Both sources commented on McCain's removal of personal attacks against Democrat Barack Obama although Twincities.com focused more on that subject than the event itself.

Twincities.com said McCain was eagerly urging the audience to notice Obama's errors but to do it respectfully. They also noticed the rowdiness of the crowd was much lower then when he campaigns with Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

The Star Tribue pointed out the audience was verbally harassing Obama and McCain repeatedly denied those attacks by saying what a great guy Obama was and how he will fight him respectfully. A small section of the article was directed towards the current economic crisis.
