Twin Cities Marathon

The Star Tribune and the Minnesota Daily covered the Twin Cities Marathon Sunday. The Daily used the stories of two runners from the running club to describe the event where as the Star Tribune gave a more bullet-point layout of the important information of the event.

The Daily spoke with Aaron Eicher and Greg McLain and reported on their finishing times, their training history, their diet and potential problems during the race. University Running Club president Steele Lorenz commented that the runners did a great job and a marathon is a great way to stay healthy.

The Star Tribune said the marathon began at 8am at the Metrodome. It ended at the State Capitol and the weather should be in the low 50s with possible showers. The source listed sites for spectators, and gave statistics on the group of people competing.
