Bill Clinton Visit
Both the Minnesota Daily and the Pioneer Press had articles on Clinton's visit to Minneapolis last Thursday. The Daily's article was a short notice before the event to spread awareness. They said he is doing this as part of a "Five Days to Change" get-out-the-vote rally. Appearances by Al Franken and Sen. Amy Klobuchar will join Clinton in this event.
The Pioneer Press ran a story after the event. Clinton was in support of Barack Obama as President and Al Franken as Minnesota Senate. Almost 4,000 people were at the Minneapolis Convention Center listening to Clinton. He believed Obama would win Tuesday's election because of his leadership with the financial crisis and that Joe Biden is his running mate. Obama is up in the polls with a double-digit lead over McCain. Clinton's promotion of Obama demonstrated any tension between Hillary Rodham Clinton has been mended.
