An attack on a British air base in southern Afghanistan Friday left two U.S. Marines dead and other troops wounded, according to officials.
Afghan militants breached the Camp Bastion/Camp Leatherneck air base with grenades and small arms, causing damage to an aircraft hangar, military jets, and buildings, Fox News reported.
Approximately 16 Taliban fighters were killed as well, reported the Huffington Post.
Prince Harry, who is serving his second tour in Afghanistan, is stationed at the base but appears to be safe.
