Drunk man attacks duck
The Embassy Suites hotel was the location of a not so likely crime at approximately 2:30 a.m. Saturday, when their lobby was the site of a vicious murder.
The Embassy Suites has a pond in its lobby where, instead of keeping fish, they have around eight tame ducks. Security guards say a guest entered the lobby and after chasing down and finally catching a duck, ripped its head from its body. He then proceeded to tell a group of astonished onlooker that he was hungry. Police say the man had been drinking heavily.
The Star Tribune did not release the mans name, but said that he was a 26-year-old Denver businessman.
This unlikely crime has led the Federated Humane Society to question the Embassy Suites practice of having live ducks in its lobby.
