still no internet

seriously, i'm going into withdrawl. i need to talk on instant messenger. i can't wait until august 19th to talk on the internet.

the burlesque show was ok i guess. but i don't like having to stay so late at the pasta bar...maybe if i were 21 and could drink (66 days!!!). and just 32 days left to live in my crappy dinkytown apartment.

and i want it to snow so bad. i'm so sick of all the heat.

Another comment from me today: the burlesque show has gone way downhill since I started going to it last summer (I've probably been to it 7 times, all but one at their previous location downtown). They used to be more intellectual, e.g. one time they had this woman dressed as a 50's housewife stripping in front of a washing machine, to the tune of a song entitled, "i love my washing machine," and then she climbed on top and started humping the washing machine and had a fake orgasm. See that's clever: it satirizes domesticity. Now it's degenerated to the level of your high-school talent show except they're wearing bra and panties. Big whoop. As if I'd go there just to see tits and buns (well, some people do...)
Plus, I hate "international girl" she sings in both French and Italian and her pronounciation sucketh terribly. I want to spank her! (not in a sexual way, but in a shut-up-you-pretentious-pseudointellectual-bitch way).

I know! There is no originality in burlesque now. They say it is a dead art-form here in the states. But I want to argue with that. Like real Jazz, in that there is some who can still swing. But mostly it is not thoroughly explored. But Tits and Ass ain't all bad. The illusion of which is what makes Burlesque so good.
