Man arrested after high-speed chase with police

Police arrested a man late Thursday after he led officers on a chase throughout Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs, according to the Pioneer Press.

The Star Tribune reports after the police followed the vehicle, topping 100 miles per hour, they used stop sticks to slow the vehicle down and was able to maneuver the driver into a ditch at Interstate Highway 35E and Lone Oak Road.

The 48-year-old Minneapolis man identified as the driver was arrested.
