Spirit Airlines soon to service MSP

USA Today reports Spirit Airlines, based in Miramar, Fla., is adding the Minneapolis-St. Paul area as a new destination. Self-described ultra-low cost carrier, Spirit Airlines is scheduled to start flights from the Twin Cities to Chicago and Las Vegas beginning May 31st.

It is report that Spirit will offer passengers three, daily roundtrip flights to Chicago and one to Las Vegas.

As reported by CBSNews.com, Spirit will fly out of the Humphrey Terminal and hopes to compete with Delta Airlines and other carriers by offering low base ticket prices.
