4-year-old falls from apartment window

A 4-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after falling out a third-floor, apartment window in Spring Park Sunday morning.

KARE 11 News reports Orono Police Chief Correy Farniok says the young boy pushed through the window and screen of the Spring Lake apartment's living room and fell out of the window.

As reported by the Star Tribune, the boy was taken to North Memorial Medical Center after falling nearly 25 feet. Police are investigating but the incident is considered an accident, according to Farniok.
