Kerstin Larson
Kerstin Larson is a second year Master of Public Policy Student at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs with a concentration in public and nonprofit leadership and management and a focus on public finance. She spent her summer in Washington, DC at the GAO, where she learned more than she’d ever want to know about the federal banking regulatory structure.
Before coming to the Humphrey Institute, she worked as a commercial loan officer at a community development loan fund in Minneapolis, where she learned the power of budgeting and financial analysis in setting and implementing organizational and policy priorities. When she’s not trying to find a place to study around the Humphrey, she likes to read biographies, cook (and eat), and walk her dog in the woods by the river.
Kerstin’s favorite place to pubTalk – debate current issues and public affairs – is over a pitcher of beer at the CC Club.
