Ryan Johnson
Ryan Johnson is a MPA student with a concentration in public and nonprofit leadership and management. He has spent the last ten years working for several nonprofits on economic and social justice for children and families. He currently works for Children’s Defense Fund on an outreach project called Bridge to Benefits that aims to improve the well-being of families by linking them to public programs and tax credits. He is also working as a research assistant for the PNLC and the Minnesota Council on Foundations to study the intersection between philanthropy and public policy. Ryan earned his undergraduate degree in English and zoology (go figure) from the University of Wisconsin.
Ryan's favorite place to pubTalk – debate current issues and public affairs – is around a campfire after a hard day of nothin' much at all.
