Even if you were hiding underneath a rock you'd likely be hearing about the current "economic crisis." Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? This is an intriguing time of study for policymakers, nonprofit professionals, and the general citizenry alike. As such, the Humphrey Institute has been leading a three-part series to dissect the current financial environment and potential solutions.
Join us at 4 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, February 4, for a panel discussion on the status and direction of the economy. "The Local and National Economies: Light at the End of the Tunnel? will feature State Economist Tom Stinson; Federal Reserve Bank Vice President Arthur Rolnick; Dan Laufenberg, chief economist for Ameriprise Financial; and associate professor and economist Maria Hanratty. The panel will be moderated by Jay Kiedrowski, a senior fellow at the Humphrey Institute, who previously served as Minnesota Commissioner of Finance. This is the second in a series of programs designed to bring together experts to talk about the current state of the economy. The program is free and open to the public. Hope to have you join us!
