Congratulations to Lisa Hilbink, co-winner of the Herbert Jacob Prize for her book, "Judges Beyond Politics in Dictatorship and Democracy." The Jacob Prize is awarded biennially by the Law and Society Association for "new, outstanding work in law and society scholarship."
Congratulations to Martin Sampson for winning a 2008 President's Award for Outstanding Service. This award is presented each year in the spring and recognizes exceptional service to the University, its schools, colleges, departments, and service units by any active or retired faculty or staff member.
