The legislative session is well underway, and the University of Minnesota faces the possibility of additional deep reductions to state funding for 2011-12 and 2012-13. During the last month, we have worked hard to make the case for investing in the University in order to promote economic growth and global competitiveness for the state of Minnesota and its citizens.

2011 State of the University Address

Please join me at the 2011 State of the University Address, this Thursday, March 3, at 3 p.m. in the Coffman Memorial Union Theater. A brief question-and-answer period and reception will follow the address.

The State of the University will also be broadcast via ITV to all campuses.
