I chose to study abroad because I feel it will truly change the way I look at life. And it already has. The experience of displacing oneself from everything and everyone familiar really makes you find true self. I came here to experience new cultures and to broaden my perspective on life. When you grow up in an environment, you tend to adopt values, ethics, and beliefs simply because you are surrounded by them. When you leave that environment, it challenges your beliefs and values and makes you decide what you truly believe.
