POST‐DOC: PRECLINICAL MODELS OF DRUG USE & ADDICTION
Available immediately: Post‐doctoral position in the Behavioral Neuropharmacology Laboratory
(http://www.unl.edu/psychoneuropharm/) at the University of Nebraska‐Lincoln, Department
of Psychology. Ongoing research uses standard and novel models to study the behavioral and
neuropharmacological processes mediating the effects of abused drugs. Specific projects
include assessing how drug cues acquire additional excitatory and/or modulatory control over
behavior, extinction processes involving nicotine, pharmaco‐ and immuno‐therapies for the
treatment of methamphetamine use, and translational approaches to treating drug addiction.
We are looking for an individual that will contribute significantly to the progress of these
projects, as well as bring an infusion of new ideas. Candidates must have a Ph.D., or equivalent
degree in related area. Salary will be competitive and meet NIH standards. Send CV and the
