Post-doctoral fellowship opportunity

The Center for AIDS Intervention Research (CAIR) at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking qualified applicants for a two-year National Research Service Award (NRSA) postdoctoral research training program in HIV prevention research. We are looking for individuals who currently have or who are about to receive a PhD, PsyD, DrPH, EdD, MD, JD or other doctoral degree. Persons with interests in HIV prevention research and backgrounds in psychology, public health, anthropology, sociology, infectious diseases, cost-effectiveness analysis, or other relevant fields are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in HIV prevention research is not required. The application deadline for fellowships beginning in Summer 2013 is January 25, 2013. Fellowships are contingent on funding.
CAIR is an internationally-renowned social science research center that has prepared numerous postdoctoral fellows for successful careers in research and public health leadership. The CAIR Fellowship Program combines seminars, conferences, and other educational opportunities with individualized, one-on-one mentoring by CAIR faculty members. Fellows develop skills in manuscript writing and publishing, grant writing, research team management, data management and analysis, and professional development and job seeking skills
