We are pleased to announce the return of Kate Briggs to our Intro Psych program!

Kate left our Department last January to live in Southern France (go figure). She will be making her transition back into "academic reality" starting November 26. Some of you have not yet worked with Kate - but you will soon come to appreciate her good nature, her creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching psychology, and her commitment to student learning.

We are extremely grateful to Jessica Shryack for serving as the Intro Psych Coordinator last spring and this fall. We are also very glad that she will continue to share her teaching expertise as a Psy 1001 "evening" instructor in Spring semester, a position, she tells me, that she will really enjoy (with "only" 100 or so students)! Thank you so much, Jessica, for your incredible help on Psych 1001!

John Muros has agreed to continue his excellent work as a Co-Coordinator through spring semester. He and Kate will work together, under the supervision of Prof. Tom Brothen and the Psych 1001 Committee, to continue recent course improvements and to explore further enhancements.

Kate's office will be N118 Elliott initially and, a bit later, she will move back into her former office, N105. Planning for Spring Semester will be a top priority for Kate - so Section Leaders - please start to pull your schedule and "section availability" information together in the next week.
