What's sex got to do with . . . Wikipedia?

According to a recent survey, only about 15% of Wikipedia's contributers are women. This article done by the New York Times questions this and starts a discussion relating to why this may be happening on Wikipedia - whether it's related to format, purpose, or other factors. Why do you guys think there is such a large gender gap on Wikipedia?
