What does sex have to do with a burger?
In this advertisement, the sexual innuendos are very obvious.
The bottom of the advertisement reads as follows:
"Oh baby! Grab hold of our buns and you can feel the difference having a big one makes. Slathered with love and attention our trademark Big Kahuna Burgers ooze perfection, moist with secret sauces from the Island Gods. When you hunger for a big one, only a Big Kahuna Burger will satisfy your passion."
Quite frankly, I think this type of ad is extremely degrading to women. The statement below the picture has everything to do with sex, and not eating a burger. The way the woman is posed is very sexual, which has absolutely nothing to do with eating a burger either. It is for sure that this advertisement will get a lot of attention, but probably not because of the picture of the burger. It is very clear that media uses sex to sell absolutely everything, even burgers!
