Shelving Slips

Just a couple reminders:
When you finish shelving all the books from a cart, be sure that the date and time is recorded on the shelving slip. In the last couple weeks, we have had a few "mystery" slips with nothing in the Time Shelved space. It then takes extra time to look for the cart and decide that it must have been shelved.

Usually New Book carts contain books for both 2nd and 3rd floor. The shelving slip should travel with the cart, eg. after 2nd floor books are shelved take the cart with the shelving slip up to 3rd floor. When the 3rd floor books are shelved, record the Date/Time on the slip....write it in as no particular space is provided.

If you have questions, ask a supervisor.
