"Iris, in the movies we have leading ladies and we have the best friend. You, I can tell, are a leading lady, but for some reason you are behaving like the best friend.”

6. Clueless

Dionne: Murray, I have asked you repeatedly not to call me "woman".
Murray: Excuse me, "Ms. Dionne."
Dionne: Thank you.
Murray: Okay, but, street slang is an increasingly valid form of expression. Most of the feminine pronouns do have mocking, but not necessarily in misogynistic undertones.

7. Love Actually

8. 10 Things I Hate About You

Patrick: So what's your excuse?
Kat: For?
Patrick: Acting the way we do.
Kat: I don't like to do what people expect. Why should I live up to other people's expectations instead of my own?
Patrick: So you disappoint them from the start and then you're covered, right?
Kat: Something like that…
Patrick: Then you screwed up.
Kat: How?
Patrick: You never disappointed me.

I like your Clueless quote. It brought me back to seventh grade and is definitely my favorite line from that movie.

You've got some good movies on your list. I especially enjoy that scene from The Holiday. And Ten Things I Hate About You is a great modern day adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew.

I love the picture of Anne Hathaway from THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. It is very chic, and fits the film well!

I absolutely forgot about A Little Princess! What an amazing old school movie about being who you are and believing in yourself. My favorite part is when Sara curses the girl's hair and then the girl brushes her hair and thinks it is falling out. Props on this pick!

everybody loves the holiday, I tried really hard to like it but I just couldn't. I like Jack Black as a funny man.

the holiday makes me cry. as much as i hate cameron diaz. when she finally cried at the end. i couldnt help but let the waterworks flow. i was like "I CAN CRY TOO CAMERON WAHHHHHHHHH GO GET JUDE!"

dont judddddge me.
