*Goonies
*Teen Witch
*The Sandlot
*The Nightmare Before Christmas
*North
*Explorers
*The Wizard

I love the goonies. It's funny because it's one movie that my entire family enjoys and now my neices and nephews watch it. It's timeless!

THE GOONIES AND THE SANDLOT! Those were two of my favorite pre-teen movies. You can't go wrong with a kid called "Chunk" and "Mouth." Wow, that definately brings back some memories.

Then of course, The Sandlot. Who didn't feel bad for the kid that moved to a new city right at the start of summer. Oh, and we can't forget all the unsuccessful tries of recovering the step-dad's Babe Ruth baseball. Classic!

Are you serious about The Dark Crystal? Not trying to criticize, but that movie freaked me out as a kid! …the crazy hunchbacks, creepy witches, strange dark eyes, long furry legs leaping about… (you know what I mean?)...
Now, The Goonies had some freaky parts, but it’s certainly a classic in my book today. Oh… Man!!! I loved the Sandlot! Good Choice!!! Cute story.

You pretty much made my day, because Teen Witch is on your movie list. I hope you are talking about the fantastic '80s movie where she finds out she is a witch by the creepy woman fortune teller (from Picket Fences). I happened upon that movie one day on cable and fell in love with the awkward characters and amazing outfits. Good choice!

I loved that Jessie chose to do the top ten kids movies. First, I thought that this would have made choosing my top ten easier because you wouldn't have to think of EVERY movie you've seen. Second, I love the Care Bears II movie. I still get excited when I see it. The entertainment business is making so much money off of our generation. They're making movies based on toys from the 80's and releasing the toys. P.S. The new Transformers movie looks amazing!

I am so excited that another person posted The Goonies on their top 10. It's the only movie that I could never get sick of. Did you see it when it played at the Uptown theater a few months ago? It was great to see it on the big screen.

I like your choice of The Goonies. I grew up loving that movie so it's nice to see other people who enjoy the same films, although it would probably narrowly miss making my top ten. The Sandlot is also another solid film. You can't go wrong with a baseball movie. Other than that, there are a few decent movies.

I'm sorry but Little Monsters? That movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. Those monsters were disturbing and the way they came out from under beds was terrifying. I definitely grew up with all these movies so good choices other than Little Monsters. Also where’s the Pound Puppies movie? No love for them?
