Rachel, I just wanted to let you know that we've bumped the maximum upload to 65 MB per upload on UThink. Hopefully this change will meet with your approval!

Every one should watch this stuff.

Great Video!!

it's weird how all of those people in the "rating physical beauty" were comparing it all to a small percentage of what real women are. i guess i laughed really hard when that one boy said "jane" was "that feminist magazine." I LOVED THE MUSLIM video one. interesting contrasts.

My issues with the hijab video:

- Niqab is not the same as hijab. The interviewees were asked about the niqab and then the rest of the video went into a hijab-love fest.

- The song. Really, equating hijab with a woman's "dignity" is quite offensive to those of us who don't wear hijab. The implication of the video was that a lack of hijab makes a woman akin to the magazine cover models. It's also interesting that that particular nasheed, praising hijab, was sung by men, who obviously would not be hijabis.

Agreed!
:)

Some people born with a real physical beauty

Where is a women dignity ?
Muslim men can go in a street with a shirt open and sun glass for see other girl..

I like these videos. They were very informal. I found it interesting how the women or men could never decide on who was the hottest because each person's view of beauty is there own. As far as the Muslim video goes, I liked the part on how the nuns were more accepted then the Muslim women.

i liked the video and as for those who say that nasheeds about the hijab are sang only by men is because nasheeds should be only sang by men or by children. women's voice is so beautiful and it's like you have heard a really beautiful sound and you want to keep it to yourself. so, even if nasheeds are sang by men doesn't mean hijabis don't feel the same. i'm a woman and i like my hijab. i'm a woman and i'm free. i'm a woman and i'm muslim. if you don't wear hijab, it doesn't mean that hijabis' faith is stronger than yours. only Allah knows what's in our hearts. so, women that don't wear hijab shouldn't feel offended by these nasheeds about hijab, i think it makes no sense.
