St. Paul substitute teacher arrested for porn
St. Paul police have arrested a substitute teacher at Community at Peace Academy for allegedly watching child porn on a computer and then showing it to students, reported Kare 11.
The 40-year-old was arrested on suspicion distributing pornography at this charter school, said police spokesman Peter Panos to the Star Tribune.
Police later searched the teacher's house for more sexually explicit material, reported Kare 11. He was fired on Friday.
"The teacher in question had a clear background," said Tim McGowan, principal at Community at Peace Academy for grades 7-12, to the Star Tribune. McGowan could not comment on any other details.
The teacher was booked into Ramsey County Jail Wednesday, reported Kare 11, but has yet to be charged.
