In our society today you can actually feel the times shifting," as far as the generation gaps between us". It's now time to put the load on our shoulders
and run with it. I am a freshman in college and I feel that my role has shifted from child to responsible individual; More weight has been put on me and love it.
I think most peers my age, even though may fus and fight about it like to be in a situation where they have to fin for their selves. It a growing process that is almost an obligation for a person to go threw in order to contribute to society.
most people our age are look at as being very irresponsible and not goal oriented, I admitt before coming to this school those would have been my thoughts exactly to, but being in this envoirment, you see people who have their whole life plan, people that did not come to college for the parties and the beers but people who came to college for their eduation, and basically people who are trying to make a better life for theirselves
I was thinking about that the other day, and actually I feel you completely. I don't like the fact that I have all this responsibility on one hand, but I don't know, on the other, I actually like it. I can go and come as I please. If I feel like it, I can leave my room at 1:oo... and not come back!!!!
