I found Kerry's speech to be better. A lot of what Bush talks about i cant relate to. Apparently Bush speaks at a sixth grade level and Kerry is just a bit better. Both try to convince you that their way is better. The speeches demonstrate todays negative version of politics where each candidate is trying to undermine the other's authority. Bush interacts more with the audience than Kerrry and gets them roused. The speeches are all bark and no bite. They talk about waht they will do but fail to mention how, only that their way is better than their opponent. I am a democrat so I have a bias against Bush. He says that his tax cuts are helping the economy but they only make it worse. The tax cuts only really help the richest percent of Americans, those who need it least. See you tommorow in class.
