Just to comment on the whole reality TV thing... I agree to a certain extent. I'm not going to talk bad about the bachelor because I am way into that show, but I will talk about the Real World. How bad has that gotten! It seems like the only way you can get onto that show now a days is if you're willing to have sex on camera. I don't know, but I'm totally not into that, which is sad because I used to love watching that show. To comment about the whole sex in the school thing also.. I think that condoms should be available at school. I dont' really think it's promoting sex as much as it's promoting safe sex. I know people that have gone to get condoms at places such as Planned Parenthood because they don't feel right buying condoms. It's better for them to get them free from a place like school then to not use them at all. I think that's all for now because I don't really have much else to say.. see you in class!
Hey everyone, I just want to comment on the condoms be distributed in schools issue. I can see both the pros & cons of distributing condoms in schools. Both sides have valid points. I personally have a hard time thinking it is ok to give out condoms to teenagers at school. If a person is mature enough to have sex than he or she should be mature enough to go to a store and buy condoms. I also feel like giving out condoms in schools is promoting sex. It is putting the idea in teenagers heads that teachers/adults most approve of having sex if they are giving out condoms. I think that some teenagers might opt not to have sex when condoms aren't easily avalible. One more thing...I don't think it should be the schools job to distribute condoms. If it is anyones job to decide when a teenager should be handed condoms...it is the parents of the teenager. I don't want everyone to think I don't see the pros of handing out condoms in schools but as you can tell my veiws are that distribution of condoms in schools is inaproriate. See you all in class!
