ok - so i know that i havent written on the specific given blog topics but i do think this one is nessessary to "blog" about...? so today, as always i woke up late and rushed out the door. i was immediately pummled and attacked... well maybe attacted isnt the write word, but i dont know what is right now. So i was approached by AT LEAST 6 different people, both on the minneapolis campus and the st. paul campus, shoving pocket-sized bibles in my face. now, they people who were the distributors as well as everyone else, knows that not EVERYONE wants a bible... because that is just common sense. personally, i am jewish so i felt no need to take a bible. i think it would have been A LOT more appropriate if there were small stands where the distributors stood, allowing people to come and get one if they wanted. Because of the fact that not everyone on campus believes in the same thing, it shouldnt be as publicized and forced as i witnessed today. im not offended or going to protest this or anything... TRUST ME, i just think it would be a little more professional to have the students approach the bible givers if they feel necessary.
I agree with you on that argument. I wrote a little post on that issue
