Bible Distribution

I think the people handing out the bibles think they have found a great way to reach students. They know that this is a place that they can pass out bibles to tons and tons of people in a short amount of time. I think one thing they don't understand is that a lot of people don't want to accept the bible when they are walking to classes. If people do accept the bibles on their way to class they most likely throw it away or leave it in there backpack where it doesn't do any good. If these people want to be successful with reaching students, i personally think they need to do it a different way. They could sit at a stand with some signs about what they are promoting...that way if people are interested they can find out information on their own. Rather than shoving bibles in peoples faces saying "here this is what you should believe". I dunno, maybe it has worked to reach some people on campus but from what I observe they aren't reaching many.

Hope everyones article analysis assignment is going well! See everyone Friday:)

I think that the bible givers are too agressive. On the way to class, they tried to push a bible on me. When i told them no, they wanted to know if i had friends that would need some then. I think that while religion is important, it should not be forced on anyone. There are better ways to do it than thrusting them in peoples faces.

They actually tried to force you to take one ?? Hmm.. I didn't think that they were going that far...I was just asked pretty politely if I wanted one and I (politely) refused..I'm glad that they didn't try to push a bible on to me..that would have made me mad. I guess they don't realize that trying to push your beliefs or whatever on to others is not a great way to convice others that what u are saying is right, it usually just makes people more reluctant to hear you out..
