In my political science class the professor asked us if the Thursday presidential debate had changed anyone's opinions on either or the candidate. I was one of the people who did not raise their hands. Rather than changing my opinion of the candidates, the Thursday debate just made me even more sure of my opinion that neither candidate is fit to be President of the United States. I felt that way from the beginning, and watching the debate just topped it off. I actually laughed at the two candidates standing there trying to answer the questions with answers that would get them more votes.
So I wanted to ask everyone if the debate has changed anyone's opinion on either of the candidates...did anyone who supported Bush prior to watching the debate now support Kerry (and vice versa) ??
Hey Alia! I watched the whole debate on Thursday, and was very impressed by Kerry. Regarding that you think that neither of the candidates are suitable to be a president is understood, but I would rather have Kerry be the president, because I don't want 4 more years of Anti-American protests, capturing innocent civilians, killing other nations and losing your own troops. I think whatever Kerry does as a president will be beneficial for the US, because at this very time, US has the largest debt of all countries of all time. Bush keeps promising jobs. Where are the jobs? He keeps promising better economy. Where is the better economy? Bush goes to war, and he ends up embarassing the American Nation in front of the UN, the whole world.
