I went to the Michael Moore event on Friday. He did a runnig commentary of the town hall presidential debates. He has an obvious liberal bias. Throughout the entire debate, he kept adding moneyfor every lie Bush told. At the end he had reached the maximum 2000 dollar campaign donation. He brought up some good points about the debate. When Bush said he was an enviromental president , the crowd erupted into laughter. I thought both candidates improved from the last debate, especially Bush. In the first debate, he kept putting on his monkey face and stuttering. This time he appeared more confident, even cocky. Kerry worked hard to dispel his image of a flip-flopper and damage Bush. Both candidates were seemingly hostile to each other. After the debates he posted negative ads of Bush that were hilarious. Each slacker that would vote for Kerry was given a clean pair of underwear and a package of ramen noodles. Wierd.
Read about this in the online Strib. yeah, Moore is obviously a bleeding heart liberal. But you have to wonder, if Kerry wins and Bush is out of office, who will he have to pick on? Will he fade into obscurity?
Underwear and Ramen? Yes, very weird.
