i think this flash movie was quite informative. (by the way i just typed this whole blog and lost it!!! uk!) it was an excellent example of pathos, emotions. Going back and forth between candidates with nothing but insults, you never once saw the smile from Kerry or Bush's face go away. i think that shows the mental strength you must have to run for president, which both candidates have: confidence too! you have to be able to take the insults and know that not every person in the US is going to like you or have nice things to say about you and your party. Although it was entirely based on sarcasm, it had a lot of good facts, that could teach the not so educated more about the candidates. For example, one could learn that Bush is from Texas, and that Kerry fought and won three purple hearts. This is all good information to have when choosing which candidate to vote for. i think the parody was a very effective way to depict the information. i personally hate readying LOONG articles about what the candidates support and what goes on in DC. i think this flash movie taught me about each poltical party WHILE keeping me fully entertained, twice in a row! especially for first time voters who are typically kids, things like this make people want to get out and vote, because it gives sarcasm about the parties, which is found daily among teenagers, etc. i think for maybe people who are very serious about the election and who they are voting for, these movies arent the best, because they do insult the candidates, which may insult the people. This is one disadvantage, but only for people who lack sense of humor. too bad for them!
