Something Interesting

As I was reading through everyone's posts about their prospectus topics, it occured to me that writing these research papers is really going to benefit us..I mean, on most people's posts, the comments said that the person did not know much about this topic but is interested in knowing more. Sometimes some people have remotely heard of the topic but don't know a lot of detail about it, and other times people give their opinions. Writing these papers will give us a chance to get a better understanding about different issues, and will help us expand our thinking horizons by allowing us to use our skills of evaluation to evaluate eachother's arguments. I am glad that we are all doing such diverse topics because it is great to know about different issues/practices etc... Just a little thought that crossed my mind...does anyone else feel this way ?? (hey here is a chance to reply to a blog post and get lots of extra points *wink wink* so take this opportunity and COMMENT !!!!

hey alia! you have raised a good point! i totally agree with you! plus, we get to resarch something we are interested in knowing about, unlike in other classes where the topic is practically chosen for you. i am definetely looking forward to learning about everyones topics!

Alia,
I am glad you decided to post something like this. I really enjoy writing about something of my choice and of my interests! It really gives me motivation to do research, ect. to write the best paper as possible and to learn as much as i can. I really enjoy the fact that we will be able to learn about many topics, because everyone is doing something different. even is someone HATES to write papers, writing about something they like could intrigue them more. I really appreciate the oppotunity to be able to teach the teacher something, rather than writing a paper about something they already know about.
